2. Guide the strap from the outside in through the attachment points of the camera.

3. Create a game by pulling up the strap in the middle of the plastic tie. This should create a big loop.

4. Pass the end of the strap through the holder and into the back of the plastic tie.

5. Pull firmly on both ends to secure the strap in the clip.

6. Voila! A safe belt for you and your cheerful camera!

Here's another tip: Most major camera manufacturers offer belts with small folds at the end. These folds mimic the curvatures they display when properly inserted into the camera mounting points and plastic clip.

Make sure you find a comfortable strap for yourself. Standard belts work very well, but are sometimes very stiff. Try a neoprene tape for heavier cameras or longer photo days.
